Also called as "Agriolefkes" Ski Resort, it is located 1471m high, and offers views over the Aegean and the Pagasetic Gulf. Ideal for beginners but not only.

It is one of the oldest ski resorts in the country that was created (1967) by the Hellenic Mountaineering Association of Volos, while since 1997 the management of the center has been undertaken by the Magnesia Development Company.

Where is the Pelion Ski Center?

The Ski Resort of Pelio is located in the area "Agriolefkes", while it is 12 km away from Portaria, 2 km from Chania, and 27 km from Volos. The ski resort is popular and busy during the winter season while depending on the amount of snowfall, its operation can range from 2 to 4 months.

Pelion ski resort is one of the few ski resorts in the world that is so close to the sea. It is also one of the first ski resorts in Greece to introduce night skiing.

What offers the Ski Centre of Pelion?

At the ski center there are 4 slopes with a total length of 7.5 km (three for adults and one for children) and 5 lifts with a total capacity of 2,000 people. It also includes a chalet, ski equipment rental area, a restaurant, a bar, parking spaces with a total capacity of 800 vehicles, as well as a first-aid station.
