Aliki Beach

Thasos Beach

Aliki is a sandy beach with on a small peninsula. The long beach could get crowded, the small one rarely. Try to locate the ancient ruins!

In the small peninsula there is an ancient marble quarry and the remains of the ancient town. In the two bays that the peninsula forms there are 2 beaches with calm and crystal water.

Aliki is a natural and historical wonder but it's small and it can easily get very overcrowded. There are traditional Greek restaurants (not the cheapest in Thasos), a small mini-market and parking can be challenging but swimming next to an ancient town is an experience that few places can offer so a visit is highly recommended.
