In the small peninsula there is an ancient marble quarry and the remains of the ancient town. In the two bays that the peninsula forms there are 2 beaches with calm and crystal water.
Aliki is a natural and historical wonder but it's small and it can easily get very overcrowded. There are traditional Greek restaurants (not the cheapest in Thasos), a small mini-market and parking can be challenging but swimming next to an ancient town is an experience that few places can offer so a visit is highly recommended.
