Agios Nikolaos is located just three kilometers (2 miles) from the city of Naoussa. It is a famous park within an area of dense vegetation, and it is a great place to enjoy nature.
It hosts different species of trees and among them, numerous platanus-trees which are over 100 years old. The waters of the river of Arapitsa that crosses the area contribute to the green landscape and add on to the beautiful environment.
Many locals, visitors, families, and schools from the northern part of Greece are visiting Agios Nikolaos, especially during the spring. There are plenty of facilities like restaurants, cafeterias, courts as well as a small train, that takes the guest to a short tour of the park reaching the church of St. Nicholas, from which the region took its name.
