It is located in a small bay, 4 km west of the city of Kavala. The beach is part of the Batis Multiplex which includes a camping place, lots of restaurants, cafes, a swimming pool, and every other standard amenity like toilets, showers, etc.
The beach haves a reasonable entrance fee (1.5 EUR / per person at 2020) but the visitor should be aware that food and drinks from outside are not allowed.
