Although tourism has greatly influenced the settlement, Parikia is still a beautiful picturesque Cycladic settlement, with narrow alleys, whitewashed houses, and tiny churches.
What is Parikia?
Parikia or Chora, is the capital of Paros and is located on the northwest side of the island. At the same time it is the arrival spot of thousands of visitors as well as the most touristic part of Paros. It offers numerous hotels, restaurants, bars, and clubs.
The attractions of Parikia include the house where Manto Mavrogenous died in 1848, the ancient sanctuary of Delios Apollo, the Castle, and the Archaeological Museum of Paros.
