Mesolongi Museum

The Mesolongi Public History and Art Museum is about the siege of 1826, and Philhellene Lord Byron who helped the War of Independence.

The History and Art Museum of Messolongi is housed in a neoclassical two-story building of 1931.

In the collection of the museum, there are artworks (original and copies) with representations of the Greek Revolution, engravings, coins, medals, and busts. There are also displayed objects and manuscripts of Lord Byron, as well as images from his two trips to Greece.
