The seaside promenade of the Asprovalta runs almost the total length of the beach that is one of the awarded blue-flag beaches of the area. To a great part, it houses, tavernas cafeterias, and shops and this fact makes it the center of the social life especially during the summer months.

A walk at the promenade reveals also the quality of infrastructure and the big number of tourist facilities that promise a high level of vacation. More specifically the area hosts hotels, campings, and more than 12000-holiday homes. Consequently, its permanent population of approximately 3000 inhabitants raises a lot during the summer.

All the above together with the important detail that the Egnatia road makes Asprovalta easy-accessible from many regions, transform the town to one of the most significant summer destinations of northern Greece. While its seaside promenade thrives with life and after the beach becomes the most vivid place of the town.
