At the foothills of the highest Greek mountain, this monastery stands out for its beauty and relics. There is a small cave-church within walking distance.

Vergina

The tomb of King Philip II, Alexander's father, is open to public. There is also an exhibition of items recovered from the tomb. Totally worth a trip.
