Roman Odeon of Kos

Up to 750 persons could sit in this 2nd century BC Odeon. Entrance is free and there is a car parking nearby.

Ancient Agora of Kos

The island's social and commercial center in the 4th century BC. You can enjoy the view of the ruins also from the terraces of nearby cafés.

Dolphin Square

A vibrant little square with a dolphin-themed fountain. Here you enjoy a meal or a drink, book boat trips, and plan your next day.

Asklepion of Kos

Dating from the 4th BC, it was dedicated to Asclepios, the God of Medicine, as well as a place of practice and teaching medicine.

Antimachia Castle

The Antimachia Castle is huge and enjoys panoramic views over the whole island. Built by the legendary Order of the Knights of Saint John. No signage.

One of the smallest islands of the Dodecanese with approximately 80 permanent inhabitants, no roads or cars. A place for meditation.

Kefalos

A rocky path leads to the White Stone Cave. The views on the way are breathtaking but go prepared and avoid the sunny hours.

Plaka Forest

Irakleides Kos

The pine-forest of Plaka has many cats seeking petting as well as peacocks and turtles who do not seek petting - all in a relaxing environment.

Aquatica Water Park

Long waterslides, pools, a café and restaurant - some of the best places for kids to have fun. Aquatica Water Park is small but worth it.

Kos Municipal Market

Market stands full of local produce including confectionery, herbs and spices, fresh fruit and souvenirs. Look for Rakomelo, a traditional grappa with honey.

Lido Water Park

Mastichari Kos

A waterpark with modern facilities that include restaurants, snack bars, cafes, infirmary, and mini-market. Kids' favorite.

Alikes Salt Lake

Serene wetlands without crowds. The waters of Alikes Salt Lake are shallow and warm and often attract flamingos and herons.

The Hippocratic Foundation has a museum, a conference center, and a botanical garden with the type of plants used by Hippocrates. Highly recommended.
