Museum of Greek Children’s Art was founded in 1994 and it is a charitable, non-profit, cultural organization. The aim of the museum is to preserve and show children’s art, as well as encourage creativity and bring the children closer to all forms of art and inspire young artists. One other goal is to expand their imagination, their skills and abilities and gain confidence about themselves. You can visit the museum with your children, let them create and learn more about them, their needs and beliefs through their paintings and creations. In the museum you can see exhibits of drawings from other children, aged from very little up to 14 years old. It is located in the city centre, in Plaka and it is open from Tuesday to Saturday 10:00-14:00 and Sunday 11:00-14:00.
How to get there: With the metro, Syntagma station and walk to Plaka, near Filellinon street.
